Some of this feels familiar.
- A loss has changed the shape of everyday life
- You feel numb, disconnected, or unable to explain what hurts
- Other people expect you to be doing better by now
- A transition has brought up older losses too
Grief and loss counselling
Support for loss, change, and emotional numbness when there is no neat timeline or single right way to grieve.
Service overview
Grief can follow a death, a relationship ending, a change in health, a move, a role you lost, or a future that did not happen. It can feel intense, quiet, delayed, or numb. Counselling offers a place for all of it.
There is no required sequence and no deadline. Sessions can meet you where the grief is today.

You do not need to be certain. Choose the page that feels closest to what is happening now. A free consultation gives you space to describe the situation, ask questions, and decide whether Jennifer's experience and approach fit your needs.
You join from a private location in British Columbia. A 55-minute session follows the concern that feels most useful that day. You can slow down, ask questions, and adjust the focus or pace as the work develops.
A 15-minute consultation is free. Individual online counselling sessions are 55 minutes and $89 CAD. Payment is made by e-transfer after each session. Jennifer can provide an electronic receipt, and Jubilee Cares does not direct bill. Less than 24 hours’ notice and missed appointments may be charged the full fee, with circumstances considered case by case.
