Anxiety and stress counselling

When everything feels like too much, start with one steady place

Support for worry, stress, emotional overload, and the patterns that keep your mind and body on alert.

Service overview

What this can look like in everyday life.

You may look capable on the outside while your thoughts keep circling, small decisions feel heavy, or rest never quite lands. Counselling offers time to slow the pace, understand what is fuelling the overwhelm, and find workable next steps.

Counselling is collaborative and paced. You do not need to arrive with the right words or a complete plan.

This may fit if…

Some of this feels familiar.

  • Worry is taking up more time and energy than you want
  • You feel irritable, shut down, scattered, or emotionally flooded
  • Transitions or relationship stress have stretched your capacity
  • You want practical support without being treated like a problem

Sessions may explore

What Jennifer and you can work on together.

  • Recognizing the situations and thoughts that intensify stress
  • Finding grounding strategies that fit real life
  • Exploring the needs and pressures beneath the overwhelm
  • Choosing small changes that feel possible to practise

Common questions

Useful details before you begin.

How do I know whether anxiety & overwhelm is the right starting point?

You do not need to be certain. Choose the page that feels closest to what is happening now. A free consultation gives you space to describe the situation, ask questions, and decide whether Jennifer's experience and approach fit your needs.

What happens in an online session?

You join from a private location in British Columbia. A 55-minute session follows the concern that feels most useful that day. You can slow down, ask questions, and adjust the focus or pace as the work develops.

How much does counselling cost?

A 15-minute consultation is free. Individual online counselling sessions are 55 minutes and $89 CAD. Payment is made by e-transfer after each session. Jennifer can provide an electronic receipt, and Jubilee Cares does not direct bill. Less than 24 hours’ notice and missed appointments may be charged the full fee, with circumstances considered case by case.

See whether the fit feels right

A consultation is a conversation, not a commitment.

If anxiety & overwhelm feels close to what you are carrying, use the free consultation to ask questions and decide whether Jennifer's approach fits.
