Life transition counselling

Find your bearings when life no longer looks the same

Support through endings, beginnings, identity shifts, role changes, and seasons when the next chapter is not yet clear.

Service overview

What this can look like in everyday life.

A transition can be chosen, unwanted, exciting, painful, or all of these at once. Work changes, moves, caregiving, separation, health changes, retirement, and shifts in identity can unsettle familiar routines and the story you had about what came next.

You do not have to turn a difficult transition into a positive lesson. Sessions can hold uncertainty while you decide what matters next.

This may fit if…

Some of this feels familiar.

  • A major change has disrupted your routines or sense of identity
  • You are caught between an ending and an uncertain beginning
  • A decision feels too important to think through alone
  • Other people see opportunity while you are also carrying loss

Sessions may explore

What Jennifer and you can work on together.

  • Naming what the change has asked you to leave behind
  • Clarifying values, priorities, and realistic choices
  • Creating steadier routines during uncertainty
  • Making room for grief, possibility, and a changing sense of self

Common questions

Useful details before you begin.

How do I know whether life transitions is the right starting point?

You do not need to be certain. Choose the page that feels closest to what is happening now. A free consultation gives you space to describe the situation, ask questions, and decide whether Jennifer's experience and approach fit your needs.

What happens in an online session?

You join from a private location in British Columbia. A 55-minute session follows the concern that feels most useful that day. You can slow down, ask questions, and adjust the focus or pace as the work develops.

How much does counselling cost?

A 15-minute consultation is free. Individual online counselling sessions are 55 minutes and $89 CAD. Payment is made by e-transfer after each session. Jennifer can provide an electronic receipt, and Jubilee Cares does not direct bill. Less than 24 hours’ notice and missed appointments may be charged the full fee, with circumstances considered case by case.

See whether the fit feels right

A consultation is a conversation, not a commitment.

If life transitions feels close to what you are carrying, use the free consultation to ask questions and decide whether Jennifer's approach fits.
